ART WORKSHOP IN FLORENCE
PAINTED IN ANCIENT STYLE The
works in ancient style are performed with original techniques of the fifteenth
century that provide for the preparation of the canvas, colors, as well as a
skilful study of the composition and the various artistic styles. The
preparation of the primer, the canvas, the frame and the colors change
according to the subject and the era of the painting to be reproduced, which is
often the result of a free interpretation inspired by great artists of all
periods.

CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS These
works are performed with various techniques, from encaustic to the use of
mortar, acrylic, metallic, iridescent paints produced by hand.
These
paintings develop a concept of contemporary art that links the figurative to
the abstract and are rich in symbolic and allegorical meanings dear to the art
of the Renaissance.
These
works express a new humanism and due to their highly decorative value they are
also suitable for various uses, such as the design of furniture, bags, fabrics,
curtains, upholstery.
In
addition to a decorative value, the EM Art Accessories keep the same themes of
my contemporary paintings in a small way.

DISTANCE TEACHING ... MY ART HISTORY AND ARTISTIC TECHNIQUES COURSES CONTINUE
If you are in the mood for art in this period of corona virus, I decided to take courses of 10 lessons of both artistic techniques and art history at a distance using the zoom platform. If you don't know it it's easy to use.
If you are interested below you will find all the topics of the lessons, those of art will last 60 minutes and those of artistic techniques of an hour and a half.

I was born in Florence in 1967. I have a degree in the history and conservation of artistic assets and a master’s degree in the history of art, graduating with 110/110 with honors. I have followed in the footsteps of my father, Foresto Marianini, an important painter, decorator, and restorer in Florence. My first job was in his workshop when I was very young, and is where I began learning all the secrets of the trade. I still work in this artistic workshop today. I have continued on my artistic education, including mastering techniques that enable me to recreate antique paintings using the methods of masters of the period.
On commission I also create portraits and “Trompe l’oeil” and any type of decoration on different materials using different techniques.
An important part of my work is also restoring antique and modern paintings.
As an art historian I have worked as an art consultant, issuing expertises.
As an art critic, I have also given courses in the history of art and painting at various levels, focusing on different artistic techniques.
My contemporary works link the figurative and the abstract. They are rich in those symbolic and allegorical meanings dear to the Renaissance, reclaiming and offering a “New Renaissance”. At the center of my pictorial explorations are humankind with its potentialities, experiencing the material dimension but also aspiring at superior things.
Beyond the symbolic value of my paintings and creations, they are suitable for use, from an aesthetic and decorative point of view, in the most varied fashion fields ranging from bags, clothing fabrics.
Recently I started a production of art accessories such as necklaces, earrings, artistic artefacts created on commission to be combined with particular clothes.
I have held personal and collective exhibitions. My works are found in private collections in New York, Jupiter (Florida), Paris, Lausanne, Oslo, Brescia, Florence, Milan, Rome, Siena, and Turin. My workshops display permanent exhibitions of my work.
I give art history lectures focusing on different artists and topics, in Tuscany and other Italian regions.
